Bel Canto Chamber Singers
Bel Canto, one of the Upper Valley’s oldest performing organizations, is an auditioned choral group dedicated to performing challenging choral music. Founded in 1977, the small chorus’s mission is to share the joy of choral music in the Upper Valley by presenting a broad spectrum of repertoire, from medieval and Renaissance works to baroque cantatas, music of the classical era, and contemporary works by local composers.
Singers hail from towns around the Upper Valley region; the group is led by Music Director Hal Sheeler. Pianist Pierre Fournier provides accompaniment for Bel Canto.
