Cantabile

Cantabile, an Upper Valley women’s chorus, celebrates its 10^th Anniversary Year under the new leadership of director Erma Mellinger and accompanist Jeanne Chambers. Founded in 2001, Cantabile is an auditioned chorus of 19 voices that performs a repertoire of women’s choral literature across musical periods.

Cantabile’s winter concert featured works of J.S. Bach, Fauré, Gilpin, Perera, Poulenc, Rentz, Rutter, and Telfer. Their spring concert, on May 5 and May 6, offers works by Eleanor Daley, Emma Lou Diemer, Lee R. Kesselman, Henry Purcell, Mark Sirett, Alice Parker, Randall Thompson and others.
