Cantabile

Cantabile, an Upper Valley women’s chorus, celebrates its 10th Anniversary Year under the new leadership of director Erma Mellinger and accompanist Jeanne Chambers. Founded in 2001, Cantabile is an auditioned chorus of 19 voices that performs a repertoire of women’s choral literature across musical periods.

Cantabile’s winter concert featured works of J.S. Bach, Fauré, Gilpin, Perera, Poulenc, Rentz, Rutter, and Telfer. Their spring concert, on May 5 and May 6, offers works by Eleanor Daley, Emma Lou Diemer, Lee R. Kesselman, Henry Purcell, Mark Sirett, Alice Parker, Randall Thompson and others.
