Randolph Singers

The Randolph Singers is a non-auditioned chorus that rehearses weekly and performs two concerts annually, in December and May. The Randolph Singers are led by director, teacher and performer Lindsey Warren of Norwich, Vermont; their pianist is longtime musician and teacher Marta Borgstrom of Randolph.

All people who love to sing in a community chorus are invited and encouraged to participate. Rehearsals are held every Tuesday at the Baptist Fellowship, Rt. 66, Randolph, begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. (come earlier to meet and greet) and end at 9:00 p.m. The choir does a variety of music ranging from Bach, Vivaldi, and Rutter to Broadway and contemporary American composers such as Gwyneth Walker and Mark Kilstofte.

The Randolph Singers was founded in 1969 by a dozen or so area residents who got together to perform a Broadway Musical Variety Show to students and parents of the Randolph elementary school.  The Randolph Singers is now comprised of approximately 45 area residents from towns ranging from Montpelier to Norwich.

The mission of the Randolph Singers is to provide an opportunity for anyone who loves to sing the opportunity to do just that in a community chorus; and, secondly, to present its music to enrich the cultural opportunities of all residents of the wider community through two concerts annually. To fulfill that goal, the Singers will present its concerts free of charge when possible, instead accepting freewill donations to help offset expenses.
