Director: Maricel Lucero The Feminine Tone, a 35-member women’s chorus, performed an eclectic mix of music from diverse cultures, languages, and traditions during its existence from 2001–2013. From heartfelt African freedom songs to Renaissance Madrigals, from haunting British Isles melodies and polyrhythmic Cuban folk tunes to songs of contemporary women composers, the repertoire was rich, unique, and inspiring. The chorus performed their final concert in May 2013.
