The Thetford Chamber Singers is a diverse group of approximately 35 men and women drawn together by the joy of singing and a commitment to bringing good music from a variety of traditions to the community. TCS was founded in 1978 by Valerie Miller, who was the group’s director through spring 2011.

We perform two series of concerts each season: a Candlelight Vespers for Christmas in early December and a Spring Concert of sacred and secular music in early May. Our concerts are especially noteworthy for the wide variety of musical styles from various traditions, beautifully woven together with poetry and quotations to create an integrated musical, cultural and spiritual experience.
