Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS) of Hanover

Musical Director: Dan Falcone

The North Country Chordsmen (bass clef chorus) and VoxStars (all-voices chorus) are ensembles of the Hanover, New Hampshire chapter of the Northeastern District of the Barbershop Harmony Society.

The Chordsmen perform classic and contemporary songs primarily in the barbershop style, while the VoxStars sing a wide range of contemporary a cappella music. In addition to our choruses, we are home to several member quartets: Blue Streak, Girls’ Night Out, 91 North, and Prone to Harmony. We promote vocal harmony, musical excellence, and fellowship so this joyful art form can be shared with our community—and future generations.

Throughout the year, we perform across the Upper Valley, sharing music at community events and celebrations, including Independence Day festivities, the holiday season, and our in-person and virtual Singing Valentines.
