Founded in 2001, Cantabile is an auditioned chorus of 22 voices that performs a repertoire of women’s choral literature across musical periods. Traditional composers J.S. Bach, Gabriel Fauré, Francis Jean Marcel Poulenc, Henry Purcell, and Randall Thompson are featured side by side with contemporary composers such as John Rutter, Eleanor Daley, Emma Lou Diemer, Lee R. Kesselman, Mark Sirett, and Alice Parker.
