Music Director: Christopher McWilliams
The Randolph Singers is a non-auditioned chorus that rehearses weekly on Tuesdays from 7 to 9 pm at Bethany Church, and performs two concerts annually, in December and May. Our concert venue is the Chandler Center for the Arts, renowned for its exceptional acoustics. Now fully renovated, it is a delightful experience to perform on the Chandler’s main stage.
The Randolph Singers was founded in 1968 by a dozen or so area residents when the local PTA wanted to sponsor a Broadway show to raise funds. The first performance was Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance. Today, between 40 and 50 people from towns throughout central Vermont come together in harmony each season. The Singers were instrumental in the 2024 founding of the Chandler Children’s Chorale (CCC) to foster the development of young singers. The CCC performs with the “big people” and presents its own program during concerts.
The mission of the Randolph Singers is twofold: first, to provide an opportunity for anyone who loves to sing, and second, to enrich the cultural experiences of the greater Randolph community. To fulfill that goal, the Singers present concerts free of charge, accepting freewill donations at the door.
