North Country Chorus

Director: Alan Rowe

The North Country Chorus, a community chorus of about 80 members, was founded in 1947. It serves the Upper Connecticut River Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. The Chorus typically presents three series of concerts each year as well as three nights of Madrigal Dinner in January. Performances during the Christmas season and in the spring feature mostly classical works. Summer concerts feature a variety of shorter pieces.

In 2017, NCC launched the North Country Youth Chorus, reflecting its commitment to promoting lifelong choral singers among  young people.

Audition information and rehearsal time: The chorus welcomes all singers who are willing to commit to its standards of musical excellence. Auditions are not required. Rehearsals are held  on Tuesdays at 7:15 pm in the band room of the Morse Center for the Arts at St. Johnsbury Academy.
